This is a digital watercolor print of one of the lanterns located on the front facade of the historic Ryman Auditorium, the "Mother Church of Country Music" located in downtown Nashville, Tennessee.

As a young girl growing up in northern Indiana, Sandy MacGowan was greatly influenced by her late father, a professional photographer. That influence, coupled with her love of art, would resurface years later after she received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Fine Arts from Indiana University. Sandy spent most of the next ten years as a computer graphics artist, specializing in speaker-support presentations, medical illustration and graphic design. While studying 3D computer graphics and animation in Canada, Sandy met her husband, Brian MacGowan.
